There’s nothing like the start of a new year to set goals, resolve to do and be better, and abandon old habits in favour of great ones. So we asked some of our Ella Baché team members at HQ to share their 2019 skin commitments and how they’re going to learn to love the skin they’re in.
Pippa, Our CEO:
"Even though my daily routine is well and truly engrained, I still take short cuts when life gets busy. So, my skin goals for 2019 include post-holiday brightening; I tend to spend a lot of time in the sun and at the beach with my kids, and even though I never leave the house without applying SPF50+, my freckles will be extra sun-kissed when I get back to work. In February, I’ll be treating myself to our NeoBright Radiance C Ampoule Set for two weeks to help brighten my skin and fade my pigmentation. I love to wear it underneath our Botanical Skin Treatment Oil.
My other goal is to commit to monthly professional treatments; people often assume I must have them regularly but the truth is, that happens mostly when we’re developing or trialling a new technique or technology. This year, I’m committing to a regular monthly treatment at one of our salons starting with a Find My Balance treatment; nothing beats the combination of a professional therapist reviewing my skin and the products I’m using, I also love the hands-on massage, and deep infusions with either Microdermabrasion, IPL or LED technology.”
Gina, National Training Manager:
“I’m getting ahead of the ageing process by committing to a series of Kickstart My Collagen salon treatments. The IPL really helps my skin look plumped and hydrated and takes it to another level. I’ll start with one in January and then book in another every three months as a top-up.
To complement the salon treatments, I’ll step up my at-home skincare products by using active serums like Eternal+ Sculpting Serum and Hydra Hyaluronic Cellular Serum simultaneously; together they really seem to amplify the results of the IPL. And to maintain super-soft, refined skin I’ll be diligent about using our Resurfacing Peel: it has the most amazing ability to breakdown drier skin cells on the surface that can block the efficacy of not only products and their absorption but also the benefits of IPL and LED treatments.”
Lauren, NSW Trainer:
“My 2019 will be about a series of Let There Be Light professional treatments to plump up my skin, prevent fine lines and wrinkles, and stimulate my skin’s natural collagen. I’m getting back into using our Resurfacing Peel every week for a really effective exfoliation (thanks to Malic and Citrus Acids), followed by our Intensive Extreme Regeneration Mask to saturate my skin in hydration. And I’m wearing our Great SPF50+ Facesaver Lotion daily to protect against UV rays and prevent premature ageing.”
Jodi, Ella Baché College Trainer:
“This year, I’m committing to more regular exfoliation as I find I’m at that age where it really makes a difference. At home, I’m doing Sunday-night sessions with a 3-step skin revival plan: first I use our Refining Exfoliating Gel (as my skin can be sensitive) followed by our Intensive Extreme Regeneration Mask and then Eternal+ Sculpting Serum. I love starting off a new week with my skin in the best state possible.”
